Feeling Stuck?

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14 (NIV)

Sometimes the scariest place to be is stuck waiting, unsure, wondering what comes next. We pray, we strive, we refresh our inboxes, and still… nothing. But God’s silence is not His absence. His stillness is not indifference.

In Exodus, the Israelites stood in front of the Red Sea, trapped between the water and Pharaoh’s army. They were stuck, terrified, and powerless.

And God’s instruction?

Be still.

Not fight. Not plan. Not run.
Just trust.

Right now, I’m in between jobs. I don’t know what’s next. And honestly? I’m scared — not just for me, but for my daughter too. I wonder if I’m doing enough, if I’ll be able to provide, if this waiting season will ever make sense. But even here, in this uncertainty, I’m reminded that God fights for me. He sees the unseen, makes a way through the sea, and provides where I can’t.

If you’re walking through your own Red Sea moment if fear is trying to write your future know this: God is still working. He is still good. And you are still His.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to be still when my heart is anxious. When fear rises up, remind me that You’re already fighting battles I can’t see. Be my peace, my provider, and my strength; not just for me, but for my family too. I trust You with the unknown. Amen.
